Babushkina Krynka exports 50% of output in H1 2009
Babushkina Krynka OJSC exported 50% of the output in January-June 2009, Director Igor Kononchuk told Interfax-West. 85% of the exports fell on the Russian Federation, he specified.
According to the director, the produce of Babushkina Krynka enjoys a great demand abroad. In his words, the latest technologies enable the company to successfully compete with foreign dairy producers.
In January-June 2009 the company produced BYR 183.1 billion worth of goods, or 9.2% up on the year. The output of consumer goods rose by 15.1% to reach 124.3 billion. The return on sales made 9%. As of July 1, the stock of ready goods totaled 12% of the average monthly output (2.5 times below the limit).
The source attributes the growth to the recent upgrading of production facilities, which enabled the company to improve the quality of goods and launch a number of brand new products.
At the moment, the company offers over 250 kinds of dairy products, the source reminded. The company also owns Happy Grandchildren brand (dairy products for children) and Life Energy brand (products spiced with bifidobacteria).
Babushkina Krynka supplies dairy products to all regional centres and large towns of Belarus. The necessary raw stuff comes from nine districts of Mogilev Region.

Babushkina Krynka OJSC (formerly known as Mogilev Dairy Factory) was founded in 1979. It was incorporated in 1995. In 2001-2007 the company took over seven local dairy plants.
