Experts praise Babushkina Krynka’s investment project
Belarusbank OJSC highly appreciated an investment project implemented y Babushkina Krynka OJSC in 2009, naming it the best project of the year.
According to head of the company’s marketing department Natalya Shablovskaya, the project was carried out at Belynichi Cheese Plant, which is one of the subsidiaries of Babushkina Krynka.
Shablovskaya reported that the project enabled the company to expand the output of hard cheeses 4-fold. In 2007, when the cheese plant was launched, Babushkina Krynka produced 2,250 tonnes of cheese. In 2008 the output of cheese reached 5,616 tonnes, while in January-August 2009 the company made 6,638 tonnes of cheese. The company has made a profit of BYR 26 billion since the cheese plant was launched, the source added.
The company unvested BYR 34.7 billion in the modernization of Belynichi Cheese Plant. Most of the amount (BYR 30.9 billion) was loaned to Babushkina Krynka by Belagroprombank.
Since 2006 the company has invested BYR 64 billion in fixed assets, including BYR 40 billion loaned by Belarusian banks.
Babushkina Krynka OJSC is one of the largest dairy producers of Belarus. The company ensures high quality standards by using carefully selected basic materials and minimizing the human factor, with completely automated production lines installed.
